frequently asked questions
Where will the ceremony be?
Our ceremony and reception will be hosted at the same location, Cross & Orange. Guests are encouraged to arrive and be seated at 4:15pm so the ceremony can start promptly. Cocktail hour & reception to immediately follow.
When are RSVPs due?
Please RSVP by August 22nd, 2025. Although we hope everyone can make it, be sure to RSVP even if you can't attend by declining the invitation so that we can plan accordingly.
What if I can no longer attend?
We understand that life happens and your presence will truly be missed. We ask that you contact either of us as soon as possible to notify us of the change.
What if I don't RSVP in time?
If we do not receive your RSVP by the date provided, it will automatically be marked as "No." We will miss celebrating with you, but it is imperative that we provide our vendors with a final guest count within their provided timeframe. Thank you for understanding.
Will parking be available?
Asbury Park is paid parking for all of the spaces near our venue. To pay for parking, the easiest way would be to download the "Asbury Park" App or ParkMobile and set your car and card up ahead of time.
You will select your zone and enter your desired length of stay. The wedding venue is in zone 33100 (Downtown Bangs-Lake).
Guests are encouraged to arrive with ample time to locate parking and be seated on time for the ceremony. Though it will be off season, our wedding is in a popular part of town.
Are children invited?
To ensure a memorable and enjoyable experience for all, we have decided to host an adults-only wedding. Invitations will be extended only to guests aged 23 and older to join us for the celebration. The exception will be our three nieces and nephew.
Can I bring a plus one?
Plus ones are limited to spouses and our invitations are intended for those explicitly named. We kindly request that guests refrain from bringing any additional persons not listed on your invitation. We appreciate your cooperation.
Will there be food and drinks during cocktail hour?
Yes! Actually, our entire wedding is "cocktail style." As our venue states, they took the best part of a wedding and extended it for the reception. And of course there will be an open bar. We are excited for everyone to see what we have in store!
Is there a hotel block for guests?
There is no hotel block, however we have provided a few options for guests to select from on the Hotels tab.
Can I take pictures?
We are opting for an "unplugged ceremony," which essentially means no pictures or videos during the ceremony portion of our wedding. We have hired wonderful vendors to capture this special moment for us.
On the flip side, all guests all encouraged to take as many pictures and videos as they can during cocktail hour & the reception.
Is there a dress code?
Our dress code is very simple. Below the knee dresses for women (avoid whites & creams) and suits or dress pants & dress shirts for the men. Please avoid wearing sneakers and jeans.
